If you are a business owner, you need to be a seller. You can’t say that you are a C.E.O. now and don't have time to sale, you need to always be selling, even if it is to get your team fired up and inspired, sale, sale, sale.
I know many business owners feel like they have enough sales experience, many of your sales team feel the same way, but this does not mean you stop training and stop learning. No matter how many years of experience you have, you must always continue to learn.
Many people get frustrated and or scared to pick up the phone and do a cold call, why is that? Because you do not have enough knowledge to just do it. You need to train every day and get yourself to the point where you can pick up that phone and not set it down for at least 4 hours. When you reach this point, you will be able to close more sales faster just because now you are comfortable doing it and you are not allowing your nerves to interrupt your business.
You should be role playing with your team every morning and you should be doing this on weekends too, not just workdays. If you start role playing and learning to overcome objections every day, I guarantee within a year your closing rate will have risen by at least 15%. Imagine how well your closing rate will be when you do this for 5 or 10 years every day, you will be a master in the art of closing.
Train every day, get with your sales team and role play, sit with your team and pick up a phone to complete a few cold calls every day. Not only will you increase your sales rate and closing rate, but your team will too and that in turn will increase your business production as well as increase profits and your customer base.
Comment below, message me, call me, even text me and let me know what questions you have regarding this subject matter and let me know how often do you sale, how often do you train, and how often are you role playing?
The goal I am setting for you is; make 100 cold calls a day for each sales associate you have and close at least 10 deals a piece each week for the rest of October, and I will do the same. Let me know when you accomplish this goal!
Go have a great week of productivity and go be successful! Go make some money! Good luck to you all!
